R. Shawn McBride recently spoke about being busy in business.
Hey folks, Shawn here with you. I want to talk to you about an important topic. A lot of people approach me, they look at all I’m doing and they say ‘Gosh, how does he do it all?’ I have a 50 state tour on business that I’m running www.mcbrideforbusiness.com/50states. I have multiple books that are in different stages of editing and being ready to be released, and the volume of books are being increased. I speak frequently to different audiences about topics that are important to them. I work with my attorney clients and I keep everything going, I keep a team running. It’s a lot of activity and those on the outside often look at me and say “Gosh, how do you do it? There’s no way you can do all that, you must not sleep.” No, I sleep and I still get some me time.
Sometimes I get a little busy but normally I’m running a life and running a business with so many different points of interaction but how? Because I have teams, processes and systems and I encourage you to do the same. And if you’re struggling with this, if you’re sitting out there saying I don’t quite understand how this fits together, I don’t know how I can do more. I don’t know how I can increase my output there’s probably things that you’re doing that you don’t need to be doing and things we can change.
You probably need me as a coach and I’m available for that. I like to work with people, particularly one on one, help them build something more, build greatness in their company and where they’re going. So if you’re thinking about this issue and you want to really do great things and unlock your potential, get a coach. And it doesn’t have to be me, get somebody you trust that can stand outside of you, look at what you’re doing and find those points of opportunity because I can guarantee you, you can probably do more. Almost all of us can, we need others to help us unlock that greatness and see how to do it.
