As business owners, we get compensated based on outcomes. What results do we drive? What do we make happen?
We don’t get compensated based on thinking. Thinking is great and thinking very important. We should all be bringing a creativity and be trying to do things we can do to change, evolve, and improve our business. Thinking is critical, but that’s not what you get paid for. We as business owners get paid for results.
We get paid for the results we implement. It takes more than thinking. It takes thinking, refining, evolving and then implementation. Implementation is when those thoughts become changes to your business, improvements, and advancements. That’s where the compensation comes from – the marketplace benefiting from implemented systems and actions.
Your customers and your teams are going to react to the additional value you added, and that’s where the wealth comes from. Don’t just think, implement. Work your way through the process, make things happen.
What’s been your thoughts? Have you had thoughts that you never implemented? Have you faced challenges in your business? Join us in the comments below and let us know what you think.
