Legendary blogger and business guru Jeff Walker has said there are great benefits to repeating actions. Essentially, if you do something again and again, you will get better at it, you will become more efficient, and you’ll be able to learn more and do more. We can all benefit from this focus and activity, and as you work through it, you’ll do better.
A lot of people are afraid to take action because they’re afraid that they’re not going to do well, or that they’re going to stumble along the way. This is a natural fear. However, you can overcome that. One of the best ways to overcome your fear is to simply start an action. As you start taking action and seeing yourself, you’ll start seeing your weak spots. You’ll learn. Much like a child learning to ride a bicycle, we’ll fall over a few times, but each time we’ll do a little better. You too can improve your habits and your abilities in any area you choose. The key is to start the path of action.
Inaction and inertia are difficult. Starting the path of action will lead to great benefits, and as you do better you’ll gain momentum and learning, and that learning will help you be more powerful at the things you’re doing. Start now. Start taking actions. Start refining and learning. You’ll be surprised how quickly you come along when you start taking action rather than thinking about taking action.
