When you own and operate your business, are you speaking your language, or are you using the thoughts and ideas of others?
Language is interesting. When I recently saw Alan Weiss speak (https://www.alanweiss.com/). He talked a lot about the power of language, of messaging, and of the words we use. Does that language reflect who you are.
Are you living your mission? Are you being yourself? Are you expressing yourself in the way you truly are? Too many businesses aren’t. I challenge you to go back and examine whether you’re truly being authentic to who you are and what you offer.
We talked in earlier blogs about my business journey http://www.mcbrideforbusiness.com/blog/no-one-is-superman-in-the-business-world/ and how I changed the focus of my value-added from being available around the clock and being super responsive to having a very unique contact base, knowledge and an ability to deliver in a way others can’t.
I started speaking my language. What are you doing to speak your language? How are you expressing yourself? How are you showing others what you are? Join us in the comments below and let us know about your journey and what’s unique about you and your business.
