When I built my businesses, things came together in a way that might seem unusual.
First there was my law firm, (www.mcbrideattorneys.com). As my client roster grew, people wanted to know more about relationships between the law and their businesses, so I was asked to speak to groups. Out of that came (www.rshawnmcbridelive.com). After that I started doing more and more work from a business management perspective, which evolved into my strategy firm, (www.mcbrideforbusiness.com). Some people were confused about how the businesses fit together.
I could see it though. I understood how it all fit together because everything was about planning, making partnerships that work and enabling businesses. Some people on the outside viewed my business structure as misdirected, perhaps, or disconnected. They questioned me.
My answer is that my businesses have developed as I have seen the need and known how to use my knowledge and strengths to meet the need. It all comes together with my one message: Plan. I want to help people to build businesses that stand the test of time, that are bigger than the owner. And I can do that in several ways.
Sometimes I’m called upon as a speaker. Sometimes people read my book, (www.mcbridebook.com). Sometimes people want my help developing business strategies. Sometimes they want my legal help. We’re all trying to be customer responsive, which is why I’ve built multiple businesses. Together the businesses allow me to focus on my customers and do more for them.
