It’s Your Job to Control the Situation

July 6, 2017 // R. Shawn McBride // No Comments »

This is your job: Understand who you are, what you want, where you’re going, and make sure you’re in control.

In The 3 Laws of Empowerment, I talk a lot about protecting yourself and making sure you get what’s fair and right for your skills, talents, and efforts.  If you’re going to do this in business, you need to be in control.

You need to understand what input you’re giving and what output you’re getting in return. You need to make sure nothing’s lost in the process – that indeed you get the outputs you deserve. This all boils down to controlling the situation.

It is your job to take control of your business, your inputs, and the outputs you get in return.

What are you doing to control the situation, to make sure that you’re getting where you want to go? To make sure that things happen the way they’re supposed to? Join us in the comments below and let us know about your experience.
