Great Opportunity For Your (Or Friend) Business

June 12, 2017 // R. Shawn McBride // No Comments »

R. Shawn McBride recently spoke about the 50 state tour and how it is a great opportunity for you and your friends in business. Here is the transcript.

Hey everyone, R Shawn McBride with you here from McBride for Business and we’re doing something very unique that we’re kicking off here in 2017. It is a 50 state tour of business.  We’re going to all fifty states interviewing business owners. This is a fantastic opportunity for business owners to get involved, get their business profile. I’ll interview the companies, meet with them, get to know them, it’s gonna include a social media burst, their social media, our social media, combine the two together to get more people knowing about what’s going good and right about American business. It’s an excellent opportunity.

So I’ll be meeting with these businesses, meeting with the owners, getting to know them, maybe give them some informal advice and things that I see growing the conversation, getting them additional exposure to the world out there, making introductions and connections among the fifty state tour participants and others. So if you’re a business and you think you’re doing something great in one of the four categories of the 50 state tour, we’ll get to those in just a second. If you’re doing great business and you have something meaningful, I would love to talk to you about getting you on the interview roster, get your application, or give it to my team. We’ll see if there’s a fit there.

So it will give us a chance to profile you and get you that additional exposure, put you in a very professional light, and get your story out there to more people, and also maybe get some strategic introductions.

So what are we looking for in companies for the fifty states? Well, we want them to be successful, and we’re looking for four particular categories. We’re looking for businesses that have women in business. We’re looking for businesses that have empowerment through entrepreneurship. We’re looking for partnerships that are doing great things – that are really working the partnership model to create excellent economic value. And we’re looking for companies that have done continuity planning, they’ve done some planning beyond just a simple will or a trust structure, but something meaningful to where if the owners aren’t there, the business will continue for the employees and for the family, the wealth will be protected.

So we’re really looking for some unique cross sections of America, some interesting companies. We would love to talk to you. So if there’s a fit here, let us know. We want to work together, see what we can build. And I want to profile great companies for the tour, it’ll be part of a blog, it’ll be part of a website, eventually probably a book and a keynote speech about what we’re learning from what’s great in American business. I want you to be part of it.
